Brian listens to Mr. Brightside

From the time Brian was young, he’s always seemed to have a connection with music.

What that connection was, I didn’t know until he started communicating via the letter board. Now, we all know. Brian sees colors and textures when he hears sounds. If I were him, I’d be listening to music all the time, too.

Last week, Brian sat down for a lesson about The Killers’ hit song Mr. Brightside. It’s only appropriate that he talked about it because The Killers were in Philadelphia not too long ago and absolutely brought the house down when they finished their show with Mr. Brightside.

Why do you think Mr. Brightside has stood the test of time?

IT’S SUCH A GREAT SONG. IT CAN’T BE OVERPLAYED TOM. THE SONG IS REAL WITH ITS EMOTIONS. THAT’S WHY IT ENDURES.

THAT WAS AWESOME! HE MADE THAT PERFORMANCE EVEN MORE MEMORABLE. I’M SO JEALOUS YOU’VE SEEN THEM LIVE. I SAW SO MANY COLORS LIKE RED GREEN AND INDIGO. THIS SONG IS SUCH HIGH ENERGY. I LOVE THEIR SOUND. IT’S WONDERFULLY COLORFUL.
